Frustration is wasted energy. Instead, start empowering yourself. Understand that job searching is not easy, degree or no degree. Understand that it takes work to find work. I often hear this type of frustration from my corporate clients when they’ve had no luck after sending only 20 applications! My response is, we may have something to complain about once you’ve sent 100 applications!! It’s a competitive world and you must work for the rewards it can provide. Here’s a tip for you frustrated job seekers: don’t rely on responding to advertised vacancies alone. Everyone else is doing that. Send proactive, professionally written letters and resumes to the decision makers in all companies in your field that you can physically get to - whether they are advertising or not. Your resume and letter may be the answer to a problem they’ve been having or a vacancy they are anticipating but have not yet addressed. Beat the competition by getting to them first! 🙌www.declareitcareers.com #declareitcareers #careercounseling#studentlife #studentproblems #student#highschool #university #college#careerguidance #careercoaching#careergoals #empoweryourself
