Just Breath....

Im sure you've all had those days when nothing seems to be going right! Your computer keeps crashing, and even when it stays running, you just cant seem to get any momentum in the work you are trying to do!


I was reminded this morning to take a step back and breath for precisely this scenario.


Putting the graphics together for these posts, doesnt seem to come easy for me and this mornings exercise was no different and a lesson in staying calm, staying the course and persevering. It seems like a very simple example I know, but it can be applied to writing that essay, organizing that project, and figuring out that calculus problem.


Just stop. Step back. Close your eyes. Breath in and out deeply 3 times. Take a drink of water. Re-focus and start again. It is quite amazing how using your breath can change your mental state from frustration and anxiety to calm and focused. This little 20 second exercise will help you you to keep on track in obtaining your goal, no matter how big or small. So remember, you have the power!! Breath and Keep Going.. you WILL get there!
