Sometimes my student clients feel like they have to or ‘should’ pursue post secondary education because of pressure from family or peer groups. And although I am an advocate for the value of post secondary education... not to mention the fun and new found freedom and life experience... it is not necessarily the right path for some. Some of us are driven by doing. By getting into building a life for themselves. Some just don’t feel comfortable in an academic environment. And that is ok too! The world resolves by the strengths and attributes that we ALL bring to it! If you aren’t looking for a post secondary path, you have a million options available to you - the important thing is that you find something that fulfills you, makes you happy and motivated. It’s out there, you don’t necessarily have to settle!!! www.declareitcareers.com #declareitcareers#careercounseling #studentlife#studentproblems #student #highschool#university #college #careerguidance#careercoaching #careergoals#empoweryourself #dontsettle
