Just Because..

My first question, when I hear a sentiment like this from a client is, "do you ENJOY your courses?". My guess is that you aren't enjoying it like you thought you would. My second question is "Why did you enrol in an engineering program in the first place?" My guess to that answer, is because someone influenced you to take it.
Just because you are good at something, doesnt necessarily mean it is cut out for you, long term. And dont get me wrong, I am in no way suggesting you abort mission because you are waffling about what you want to do with your life. You may actually be on the right track! But you want to be sure!
A lot of the time when I work with college or uni students, or young adults just starting their careers, the career assessment and our consult will simply confirm that they are on the right track. It will give them the confidence to stay focused on their chosen path! If you are in a program that you are just not 100% sure on, even though you do well with the course material, then this might be the time to work with someone like me to find that reassurance - or - to make a switch!
If a change is needed, it is better to do it sooner than later obviously, to save your time and your money. Chances are, the change you make will not be very drastic, and you will probably be able to use your current completed courses in your new program, so not all is lost. To the contrary... it will be FOUND! www.declareitcareers.com #declareitcareers #careercounseling #studentlife #studentproblems #student #highschool #university #college #careerguidance #changecourse #findyourself
