Continuing in the series of “Commonly heard worries of my students”..... here’s one! What do you do if you’re “expected” to follow a certain career path -that’s clearly not for you?? Well first, (and it’s easier said then done I know)... you find your voice and articulate that you are exploring your options. You articulate that you must find a career that motivates you so that you will be successful long term!! Then, you do your research, you speak to others happily employed in their professions, you get some objective advice, you do a formal career assessment!! (Hint hint).
